The 2025 MECHATROLINK Members Association (MMA) General Meeting was held at Akihabara UDX Conference (Tokyo) on June 5, 2025.

In the opening address, MMA chairman, Mr. Kenji Ueyama (General Manager, Motion Control Division, Yaskawa Electric Corp.) delivered a speech and announced the change of the MMA General Secretary.
Following a brief greeting, the new MMA General Secretary, Ms. Mamiko Hiranuma, delivered a report on activities in FY2024 and announced the FY2025 activity plan.
In the new products segment of the meeting, four companies announced five types of MECHATROLINK-compatible products.
At the venue, a exhibition corner was set up where participants could view actual devices that were showcased.

In the second half of the event, two presentations were held.
The keynote speech, titled “No Escape: Cybersecurity Measures in the Industrial Sector Following the EU Cyber Resilience Act”, was delivered by Moxa Japan LLC. They introduced the latest cybersecurity measures, including those related to MECHATROLINK-compatible products.

The special lecture that followed, titled “AI Applications in Robotics and Logistics Automation”, was presented by Rapyuta Robotics Co., Ltd., who shared the latest trends and initiatives in the use of AI in the robotics field.

The meeting concluded with a standing reception, where participants enjoyed a friendly and engaging time of networking and exchange.

The MMA and its members will continue to actively promote the use of MECHATROLINK.
