Participation at the System Control Fair 2017 in JAPAN (November 29 to December 30, 2017)
The MMA will participate in the System Control Fair 2017 at Tokyo Big Sight from Nov. 29 (Wed) to Dec. 1 (Fri), 2017 (MMA booth: West Hall 3, 4-01).
This year, we will demonstrate the concepts of our new technologies, MECHATROLINK-4 and Σ-LINK Ⅱ, before their release. In addition to demonstrating the concepts of MECHATROLINK-4 and Σ-LINK Ⅱ, we will also display various systems to demonstrate the concepts of MECHATROLINK’s features. In the MMA booth, visitors will be able to see the large-scale interconnectivity demonstration system that has been renewed with the latest MECHATROLINK-compliant products connected through MECHATROLINK. Nine MMA member companies will exhibit their products at the MMA booth, the largest scale yet.
On the first and third day of the fair, we will organize the “MECHATROLINK New Technology and Strategy to Drive a New Era for MONOZUKURI Manufacturing” seminar to introduce our new technologies and explain our strategy to achieve Industrie4.0.
From 16:00 on Nov. 30 (Thu), the second day of the fair, we will offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the MMA booth. We are looking forward to seeing many of you.

|Outline of Lecture||MECHATROLINK New Technology and Strategy to Drive a New Era for MONOZUKURI Manufacturing
～ Synchronization and Coordination of Motion Control Data and Various Sensor Data ～
To realize the world set out by Industrie4.0, FA systems must have functions to collect data from connected devices and effectively utilize the collected data, since the number of connected devices is increasing, i.e., the increasing number of sensors for product quality assurance and protective maintenance that have been added to the number of conventional devices to improve productivity.
To satisfy such requirements, MMA developed new technologies, MECHATROLINK-4 and Σ-LINK Ⅱ, using the features of MECHATROLINK. These technologies not only allow a FA system to easily collect data and utilize the collected data but also enable synchronization and coordination of various data. These new technologies, and their application examples will be discussed.
